I think a 3inch system with hotdogs will be too loud for most daily drivers and will almost certainly drone. I have a VF SS Manual with a 2.5 inch X-Force mild steel cat-back and its fine. There's a VERY slight drone at 1,900 RPM but its no issue for me. I'm very happy with the way it sounds.
