@AustraliaMate it depends of how much oil your car needs ( I don’t know how much the v6 takes) but I think the 300mm bottle treats 6L of oil so I put 2 bottles in my V8

@07GTS 1 where are you putting the heat matting? 2 what heat matting do you use? I have been wanting to wrap the maf in something to help with the heat soak sense before I even had the OTR.

As far as I know VCM have updated the OTR and now one of the pcv (I think it is) comes after the maf not before like the old ones. Here’s a pic of mine and if anyone has a old VCM OTR could check and confirm about the hose location.

@Derekthetree it install is really easy it took me about a hour including making a coffee half way through and cleaning the maf with maf cleaner

Here is a vcm with the infill panels for $490 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/402182998909 I fitted the maf version to the mistress and have done about 900kms without and codes or any trouble without a tune on the car (still factory tune)

As @villn808 said the VCM OTR is about $50 more on eBay (with out the side infill panels) and I think really tidy up the engine bay. Plus if you ever through about a catch can doing the OTR gives you a massive space where your old air box was.

So what about buying the heated pads and the cooling fans form GM and the Chevy ss mylink surround (with the heated/cooled buttons) then get a auto Electrician to wire it all up to the two buttons Instead of going through the mylink and climate control system?

@Holden17 I use autoglym leather cleaner an leather conditioner every 3-6 months same as the seats front and rear and all the leather looks like new and is about as soft and supple as you can get it.

@mpower did you go maf or mafless? Mines the mad version of that makes a difference.

For what it’s worth I fitted VCM OTR and didn’t notice any extra induction noise.

I think your right @panhead the X pipe doesn’t look like the 2 pipes touch. I always thought you wanted the exhaust scavenging to happed as close to the collector as possible, so then why is the H pipe rebut at the rear of the exhaust?

What effect doses having both on a car X pipe at the front and H pipe at the rear after the resonators

I believe meth is still used but I would look into interchillers https://fiinterchillers.com/ It uses the cars AC system to super chill the IAT and you don’t need to 1 have a extra tank for water. 2 you don’t need to keep topping up the water.

@VFSV6FORME you can buy O2 bungs then all you need to do is drill and weld (if you have the equipment)

Hey @Playz it’s a normal sound the factory intake makes the same sound but there’s more baffling and stuff so you don’t normally hear it, with the OTR All the sound come straight out the front. I’m probably wrong but I think it’s the throttle blade closing cutting off all air to the engine.
