    [NSW] Next Car help VT,VX,VY,VZ

IMO I would go with VY... revised rear end and steering components over VT/VX and doesn't have the Alloytec from VZ. (My mechanic has also told me before VY are the best model...) But isn't a supercharged 6 illegal on P plates though? I was looking at buying a Super Six VY ute, only to find...

    Lowering

I can't tell you exactly, but Super Low (SL) front and Ultra low rear (SSL) will sit the ute level at 350mm HTG all round. My ute has FE2 currently (yet to install SL and SSL), and front measures 385mm HTG and rear is 400mm HTG..... So the springs you are getting would be halfway...

    Demise of the Forum?

Being young I can't really say, but some of the forums I am apart of are dead, for example the EDGE buggy forums, was really in its prime between 2006-2012.... now lucky to get 2 new posts a week. Facebook pages are annoying, I am in a heap of em, and geez some people..... hahaha everyone is...

    Question about tightening wheel bolts

What I've been taught to do (by the mechanic I work for...) is to rattle them up tight, then when car is back on the ground, go around and tighten all by hand with the wheel spanner.

    Wombles 4th car

They never have to work on them so they just design stuff without thinking about the complications for later servicing of that part. I can imagine your frustration; we had to basically remove the engine of our [Chinese made] buggy just to get the rear sprocket and brake disc out!
