You could run a line out converter of you rear door speaker and use that as your amp input or, Might as well run a 4 channel loc of the back of your head unit and upgrade all speakers, amp the speakers and add a sub into the boot. The door speakers are a good location, I wouldn't waste my time...

Rightio boys and girls, Got a ve ssv or calais with the 11 speaker system and want to add some bass? I just hooked up 2 12" kicker subs and amp setup in the boot and wow was it the easiest install ever! Keep in mind I haven't hard wired the remote wire just yet but I'm pretty sure soldering...

Anybody know if the rear sub wiring is split of the Rear speakers or if there straight off the head unit?

Hi guys has anyone run an loc of the rear stock ve subs? I had a crack and it didn't sound too good. Should I just piss the stock subs off and run the loc off the rear door speakers? Also perhaps I should have run the loc before the amp. Any ideas? Cheers Az

Ok guys so I'm thinking about doing a cam changeover (vcm 21 kit) and wondering if it's worth adding lifters to the shopping cart. I'd think it would be a no brainer but thought I'd ask u guys. Doing the standard vcm Otr and 1"3/4 headers with 2 1/2" system. 07 Ve ssv l98 sedan. Stock. Cheers Az

Not sure mate, just bought it 2 months ago and it wasnt changed by the previous owner. Its not a lukey cat back, only rear muffs have been changed. I know a bloke who does exhaust systems, might have to take a day off work and pay him a visit. Cheers

Just did the Sub woofer hack ( swapped polarity) and adjusted the amp. Have to say WOW, what a difference!!!! Took longer for the soldering iron to warm up then it did to do the job!! Also just pulled back the carpet covering the amp and put my hand under the amp to adjust. did not need to...
