Yeah, I think the sensors don't automatically activate when driving forward (even at a low speed) because otherwise you'd be sitting in traffic and the sensors would start going off at the car in front/behind you. It knows, when you put it in reverse, that you're doing parking/tight manoeuvring...

Mine doesn't activate until I put it into reverse (SS-V manual). I think that's normal. Does yours come on when you put it into reverse?

Flap should be fully open when the car is turned off. I've only ever removed the fuse while the car is off. Is that what the kids are calling it these days? :D
