Thanks for the help but if all goes to plan I'll be buying a complete l67 vx this weekend and will be doing a complete engine swap using my existing auto and swapping the torque converter over.

I read on l67torque you could run 10psi on the ecotec but anything more would cause preoblems, and I realize a tune is needed I will get a memcal done by theone or greenfoam or someone on the forum unless I can use a factory vs l67 memcal

Fixed: I ended up taking off the master cylinder cleaning out with brake fluid and bleeding all the lines there was a fair bit of gunk in the bottom of the master. My brakes have been perfect and feel better than they ever have.

Will be bleeding the brakes tomorrow hopefully, I'll see if that fixes the problem otherwise I have a vr I can steal some callipers off of

Tried resetting the bcm this morning by taking the fuse out and letting it reset still nothing, Any help would be appreciated

Starter motor, leads, spark plugs, ignition module, battery are new. Start relay is clicking so should be working properly.

Hi everyone I'm having trouble starting my vs series 3 304 ute, It will start straight away if i bypass the ignition switch at the starter motor with the key in and will run good and healthy but won't start unless I do this. Does anyone have any clues to what it could be? Thanks Josh

Hi, I have a vs ute, I recently had a problem with my handbrake, the handbrake shoe has come out of place and the clip that holds the shoe in place has snapped. Can anyone please let me know where I can get these bits thanks

There shouldn't be a lot of orange peel if the panel was prepared correctly and the paint was laid on wet and you most definitely shouldn't be able to feel it. The paint shop would have been paid nothing buy the insurance company and therefore do cheap, quick and nasty jobs in my opinion.

Update: 69mm throttle body arrived today and had been installed. The throttle feels more responsive even on my completely stock engine and the shift points don't seem to have changed to much and overall I'm happy with the outcome. Changed the radiator cap and am yet to hear the coolant...

Also would like to say I have purchased a mace 69mm throttle body just waiting for it to come and I'm wondering if I can install it without having a tune for it yet, I will be getting a tune done for it one day but probably not very soon, Thanks

Got my aldl cable, using tunerpro rt and just trying to figure out which bin, xfd and adx files I need. Hopefully I should be able to get it all figured out before sunday and then do a data log and have a gander.

I hear a gurgling sound into the coolant overflow as soon as I shut the car off is this caused by a faulty radiator cap? Or is it just a normal thing

Great job, just give the stone chips a bit of a brush touch and put on a bit of tyre shine and it will look very nice. Also in my opinion remove that pinstripe sticker and it will look a lot nicer.
