    Agree. Mine is running a VCM5sc which VCM recommends having a 2500rrpm stall. Mine has standard stall converter was originally a bit of a dog, but after having the tune tweaked it's now fine. Idles around 700 and doesn't feel like it's pushing.

    True, with added downforce you get drag. When circuit racing though , downforce is god An F1 car has that much drag that just taking your foot off the gas pedal will slow the car down with more force than many road cars with the brakes applied fully

    So you drank around 1 lt per 100km more by disabling AFM in a scenario where AFM would have it's biggest effect ? To put it another way, 2 bucks more in fuel cost for every 100km. Why bother re activating it ? :confused:

    Mines an early 2016 which sat in the showroom for a while. we bought it in later 2016. battery died late 2017. The NRMA supplied one has been going strong since. The car's a daily with quite short trips.

    I've been living with it for 6 years now. The cam is mild (VCM5SC) though the fumes at idle can be quite strong. even with windows closed, the fumes find their way into the car. I've had the tune tweaked, plus changed the cats from 100cel to 200cel. Made little to no difference.

    It's similar to when i bought my VF. the Holden dealer offered fixed price servicing. What they referred to as a 'Harrier Service". Basically an oil change and not much else. People get easily sucked in into thinking these are full log book services

    I still get confused with the 30% loss from flywheel to wheels.. Does that gap close the higher up you go in HP ? For example, a VF that pulls 1000hp at the flywheel wouldn't lose 300hp by the time you measure it at the wheels ?

    HSV haver always been optimistic with their flywheel KW figures. I was astounded when a mate had some work done on his VF GTS and it showed around 305rwkw prior to the mods
