What Iout said is correct about the unlinking the ecu. You need the BCM security code, and unlink old ecu from security system, and them can link other ECU, using Tech2 or similar.

If spark plugs don't fix your problems, maybe either wiring from ecu to injectors, or the ecu it's self. Search the forum for similar fault, and you will find ecu a common fault in the vz.

I'm not a fan of the projector low beam headlights either. I upgraded mine to Philips X-treme Vision Plus +130%, bought though eBay, made good improvement, also have adjusted headlights slightly, I find that manufactures always have the light beam adjusted too low for out of town driving.

I've only test drove a sedan with the bimodal, I think the wagon makes it sound a little louder with bimodal open, but not once cruising. I run with the bimodal open permanently, and find tyre noise louder than the exhaust, when cruising.

I'm running a dash cam, and 2 radio's from it. And as stockies said from memory its a 10amp fuse. Standard uhf radio draws 2 Amps max, dash cams 0.5 - 2 Amps, so you will be ok. You got it easy going with an on-glass antenna, a real pain to go with an external wired antenna.

Just a thought, could be an electrical earthing issue, worth checking your main battery earthing points, on the body, and engine, for loose, or corroded connections, and your ecu earth as well.

I would be going to a different place too, 5 speed auto is not rare. what's wrong with the gearbox? How many kilometres has it done? Has the auto ever been serviced? If the auto is stuffed, cheaper to replace with new 5 speed, I don't think you can even fit a 4 speed to the 190kw engine.

+2 If you won't to treat yourself, and don't mind the bit extra cost. series 2 do delete the cd player, but I think the sound from the bi modal exhaust makes up for it.
