have now solved the problem ,light switch just packed up like that, looked on ebay for new switch $40 +10 postage, tried holden $38 and no waiting amazing eh jaybee

driving home last night ,turned on headlights & nothing came on no park or dash lights, checked fuses & relays all seem to be ok stop lights & reverse interior boot light all work ,anyone with a bright :idea3: about this one thanks jaybee :hmmm:

.Changed my mind , bloody thing stopped again ,and stayed stopped . another c.f.i module has been fitted .Nissan or Ford are starting to look real good alternitives as Holden is now crap in my books jaybee

finally seem to have the problem fixed, had a new E.C.U fitted and so far car has run well .Seems the traction control was shutting down 2 cyl's everynow and again , dont know why pouring water on the coils would make it run ok for a while . Anyway happy chappy at the moment jaybee

thanks for the reply's, reading what I wrote originly see that i put cam angle sensor . should have been crank angle sensor [oop's ] anyway a troubleshooter has had the car for 4 day's driving with a computer connected up to it and the answer is ??? runs like a dream nothing wrong with it...

I have a 99 vt :b: over the last 4/5 months it has stopped on me about a dozen times , holden has had it twice can't find any probs apart from replacing fuel pump relay :b: . Another garage could find nothing wrong :b: 3rd garage has so far replaced cam angle sensor, cfi module , coil...

My VT has just started this problem as well plus the chimes, airbag & traction lights come on , drive about 2 km or leave engine running till it warms up a bit & fan / lights go out .How did it go with you Mungx2 ?? Ive been to Holden & they could'nt find anything wrong
