Yep, I have an SSV. Different brakes, no bose sound, different non-staggered wheels, no sunroof, no front collision warning. The rest is the same. Same HUD, same steering wheel, same pushbutton, same rear lights, same trim, colour dash etc.

I have 5 free Holden services. They accidentally gave me the free services instead of a 5 year warranty which was in my contract, and by the time it was noticed, there was no changing it in their system. They were legally obliged to give me the warranty, so I got both.

I've got the "Time only - 24mths /100,000kms". I got mine for free (dealer stuffed up), but it has the price $1140 on it. Mines a low km car, so the 100,000kms don't bother me, the 2 extra years gives me plenty of peace of mind.

I just had a look to see if I still had the receipt from the dealer with the description of what they did on it, but I cannot find it anywhere. I wrote this post on the day I had it done, the dealer may have lied to me (which I wouldn't be surprised about really, I no longer use this dealer)...

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I'm in Melbourne. Mine is an November 2015 build, VF2 SSV and they did it to mine. They said mine was the first VF2 they had done it to (this was Aug 2016), and it was a common thing they had to do for VF1's.

Yep, sounds like what they did. I went for a drive in mine yesterday and checked the vents for the first time in a long time. All seemed fine and mine was as noticeable as yours seems to be.

Yep, thats the kind of thing my VF2 would do. For a while I thought my partner was losing it saying she was cold as I had hot air coming out of the drivers side vents. As I mentioned above, I had the actuators realigned and it is now a lot better.

I had issues with mine a couple of years ago. I never had an issue cooling the car, only warming it. I had the actuator / vents realigned and it definitely made a difference. It still happens, but not as obviously now. https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/threads/vfii-air-con.255210/

You can download maps in Google Maps before you leave, so they can work offline if you know the area you will be going to.

Just got back from my first long drive since having my maps updated to 30.12.10.11 I'm not sure how new the actual maps are, but it got the 2 new roads that opened a couple of years ago right, and all the changes to speed limits near me right. This is what the first update should have been, but...

It took a week to get it in to a dealer, and I called around all in the area, but it is all sorted. The seal is fixed and the carpet replaced. After looking closely at it, it was much worse than it seemed.

Just been out for a run in my car for the first time since hearing about the HVAC drain seal issue. I lifted my passenger side floor mat and I have mold growing. Looks like I'm not going to wait for my next service before getting it replaced. Not happy.

So has anyone had any update on the new maps other than they'll be out soon? I've got my car booked in for a service later this month and I'm wanting to get them updated at the same time, but getting a date for the map update has proven difficult.

Mylink is crashing right? They'll update the firmware for free then.

Mine was one of the first VF2's off the line, delivered in Dec 15. I've done a few km shy of 20k, and I've had 2 items looked at. Whistling at 100km, which was fixed with a new bonnet seal, and the a/c being a bit ****. Both were fixed / greatly improved. Other than that it still seems tight...

Mine is definitely better since I had a dealer have a look at it, but it is far from perfect. They said that the one of the main issues that the Series 1 have has been resolved via a software update that all Series 2 have. They also said that mine was the first S2 to come in with the issue...

Had the same lip on the top of the radiator fix done today. Just got back from a quick drive and it worked a charm, no more whistle. No issues getting my dealer to fit it, I described the issue and they got the part in overnight and fitted it this morning.

So I got my car back from the dealer and they realigned the actuator / vents. They said the software was already up to date. During my drive home yesterday it did seem to have improved. I guess time will tell.

I think I got it when I forgot to put the handbrake on.

Yep, I think I will. I've just got back from a drive it did the same thing it always does, but I also noticed that while hot air was coming out of the front vents, cold air coming out of the rear vents.

I have 2 Commodores, a VE S2 SS, and a VFII SS-V. In my VE, on a cold day the aircon will get me to my desired 21c quickly, and then keep me there by pumping out nice warm air. In my VFII, same conditions, it gets me to 21c quickly, but keep me there by alternating between hot and cold...
