hey guys, im looking at converting my s1 vn motor cooling system to a s2, what needs to be changed, and has this been done before? im thinking it needs 1. new rad 2. overflow bottle 3. inlet manifold from s2 just not sure what else would be needed. thanks all suggestions considered :)

hey guys, sorry for probably dumb question, but where do i start looking for the code 42 Electronic Spark Timing Circuit so i can fix the problem? my vn s1 commodore v6 has the engine light come on and off every now and then and this is the code as well as oxy sensor, but car still runs fine...

as said above either inlet manifold gasket or maybe the welch plug behind the harness there as thats what was wrong with my vn, i replaced inlet water pump and welch plug

i went out today and made sure the radiator was full, started it and let it idle for a bit, then took it around the block and all seems to be good, the thermo fan kicks in just over 1/4 so does that sound ok? also the temp only got to under half and didnt go any higher so hopefully the crap on...

i used my garden hose and flushed the radiator till it got cleaned and degreased the gunk on the outside to it can get a good airflow, i will have to buy coolant in the next couple of days as im only using water now since i took the radiator out, so im guessing the water would have made it reach...

yeah same here i think mine have been replaced when the old owner replaced it with lower suspension, mine are red and in good nik too :)
