I had a Ranger XLT auto, that box was trash compared to the ZF in my FPV's, the rest of the truck was fairly decent.

All of us who own the last of the SS's should be flattered that this car even though it has ceased production and has a "Dinosaur" V8 under the bonnet is the benchmark other car manufacturers are holding their performance marques as their main rival, I couldn't give a rats a** if it's quicker or...

The V8 SS is gone..........I'm just glad I have one :D That's all:p

Why are we going on about the Stinger? in a year or 2's time there will be an updated Stinger that will absolutely thrash the SS it's called evolution, does that mean the SS is a bad car...No, it is what it is, the best Aussie Holden.

Not interested in the Kia, if you have a VF11 then you have the last of the bunch, Stinger is the new generation of course it's going to be "Better" than the SS they wouldn't build one that wasn't, Commodore is gone, every car made from now on is going to get better, does it matter to me? CGAF...

Take it back and get it replaced, that's what the warranty is there for, could be an accident waiting to happen there, camera faults out backing onto the street.....BANG!

Do your own oil changes, then you know whats what, mine was due for it's first service, so I changed the oil. I use Penrite Enviro+ and Genuine filter, 1/2 hour job by the time the oil drains, will change the oil every 7.5K Km's, I don't trust what the dealer uses.

GF-5 for my LS3 as well, will change every 7.5K Km's.

Mines quiet, apart from when you depress the loud pedal!

Bought mine as a daily, The auto is great in commuting traffic, set and forget.

10,000Km's only issue is that dumb grin I can't wipe off my face!

Don't really care about value, I bought mine as a daily and a daily it will be, it's not pampered but it is looked after.

Thieves in NZ have done a smash and grab on 2 pricey Maori paintings, seems the get away car is a White Ls3 SS, Witnesses have said the car sounds like it had been hotted up.....Good old Bailey tip does work! Hope they get the paintings back undamaged.

2016 SSVR chrome on mine too.

I would hope that because this issue has been documented before the passing of the warranty if you had any major issue resulting in this noise it would still be covered? But it could just be Holden fobbing you off till the warranty has expired.....Hope not!

If it's the front just put your spare on?

Using mine as a daily, can't help myself! so far so good, we'll see what happens.
