O5 commodore executive in need of new headlights Are the ss ssz and calais headlights a direct fit into the executive cause i need to replace my headlights dure to a kangaroo damage to one and hazy pitted lense one the other and i really like to look of the calais and the ss lights

Also a quick way would be to diconnect the ball joint place plastic bag over ball joint greese it up and slide the new boot over and onto the steering arm then cut the old boot off and slide new one inplace reconect joint and job done

Do you really need to put the pvc pipe in place of the standard snorkle/ in the extra whole or can you just cut the 2nd hold and leave it at that keeping the standard snorkle either in or out and just having the 2not hole withour a pipe?

I'm trying to find the same answer I also hit a roo to and now when I put the high beam on all go on except the one on the side of the roo damage the high beam on the h4 globe dont work but all others go on new globe and no difference

Check the negative connection on the battery .one is still doing this same problem I just checked my bag con action and it was fairly loose

Would the plug that goes into The globe be the problem if it looks abit burnt brown on the plastic connection

Could be a faulty key I was having check powertrain randomly show up but the car would also shut down and restart it’s self when this happened and it ended up being the key.. just a thaught....

I blew the driver side high beam globe (h1) awhile ago and never bothered getting a new globe and I replaced the normal h4 globes with the philips brand globes and it’s been about 6/7 months and I’ve now blown the driver side globe I replaced that with a cheap globe and the high beam already...

What’s the difference between red and green coolant I got the over flow replaced and the machanic has used green coolant as it was running pure water before that

Yehvmy headlights already do that when the high been is on there is no low beam but when I hold the high beam on I get the low and high on

I do oil air oil filter and throttle body every 10000 that’s as far as serving ce goes been scared to go near the MAF and it’s got 230,000ks I noticed also when the cars running it is a little sluggish in the lower side of the Rpms and it smell a bit fumey at the rear when parked and idling

Yeh the pads went to low and could only afford pads at the time to next change I’m looking at changing disk aswell and ok cool slotted on the front it will be

I’m in need of new disks next brake change as my pads gave no warning as to needing replacement and scratched one of the disks so next change I’m thinking of new disks and pads all round just wanting to know I’m thinking of slotted but not sure slotted All round or front only
