In both cars I have I run BP 98 (or Caltex 98 if I can't find BP). I have a MINI Cooper S (turbo model) that I ran Shell 98 on initially. It did a high pressure fuel pump - apparently Shell 98 is so full of additives that it messed up the HPFP. BP 98 also makes the MINI pop/crackle on overrun...

Did a quick distance check today using the trip meter - looks like cameras alert when you're approx 250m away. It also only alerts you to cameras in your path. I have experienced some satnav's in the past that just alert that a camera is in the area, even if it wasn't focused in your direction...

Yep, that's the same purple camera icons I get, with "Camera Nearby" displayed bottom of screen and two chimes that cut out radio broadcast when chiming.

Hey, I have attached the settings I currently have and the software version in my SS. I expect it was driver alerts functions that changed things (cameras were unticked by default), but have included all my related Nav/Camera settings changed today just in case. Made a few changes at the same...

I've since worked it out. Speed/Red light cameras showing on nav screen and now audible alert prior to reaching the camera is also working. P.S. More kms on the clock and many more smiles experienced. Luvin' it!!!
