Was out for a drive on the weekend which included a very steep incline after about 90 mins of driving, auto kicked back to 3rd and then a strange noise started, it was like a flange gasket leak sort of noise. Once at the top pulled over and it was all fine, free revved it and no strange noises...

All good still have 10mm to play with :-)

mate it is stock and sits high so i dont think 15mm will hurt it Will check it though, BTW thanks for the link I will keep that for future use :)

it says 15mm that should be safe from scraping shouldnt it ??

pedal is all the way up another thing I checked first but as I have a bad neck/back I cant get under the dash to check the switch and wiring :-(

Yep done all that before I replaced the stick, still no go When it was working I was driving and it cut out for no reason so I set it again and it went fine for another 100ks or so then after an overnight stay it would work and hasnt since.

Hey guys need some help or advice. Have a VS Acclaim Wagon and the Cruise Control wont set. Switches on ok but just wont set. Checked and changed all fuses and relays even changed the stalk and done the hotwire thingo but still not able to set it. Any help appreciated
