Hey guys, I am currently in the works of installing an autronics smc ecu in the vl, I purchased it from a guy who had it in his vl so when I purchased it I also got the engine loom, My question is How come it hasent got a plug for the back of the alternator?? It also missing the power...

So if I have an aftermarket computer say an autronic smc with a driver from 1-16 ohms I should be okay too use them? I'm thinking the last piece off the puzzle is some form or uscar-Bosch adapter then tune it up at the tuners

What style plug are they? How would I go about fitting the ls3 plugs into a rb30 loom? Sorry if it's a dumb question. Thanks Matt

Hey guys I know it's a bit late but i just performed this conversion on my vl (vn diff disk too disk with adjustable pan hard rod) I feel like the axle is centred however the car is pulling too the left reeeaaall bad, Is there something Iv missed? Tia Matt

i noticed the mounting bolts are under the carpet so seats out carpet out just to get the handbreak switch out!, talk about a kick in the nuts..(i tried a test light on the yellow wire leading from the switch but to no avail) potentially no power goin from it?

hey guys, last thing i got to do for my roadworthy certificate is to get my handbreak warning light too work, if gotten as far as checking the bulb in the cluster. has anyone encountered this problem before? i cant seem to figure out how too access the switch on the handbrake. thanks matt

Thanks everyone for the direction! The problem has been solved, the plug leading from the fuse box that supplyed the reverse lights just so happens to supply power too the high beams, plug had shat it's self and with a bit off tinkering the problem was fixed, and reverse lights work too! This...

Hey uniacid, have swapped over relays too supply and headlamp too no avail, Is there some small chance it's the globe/globes? Seeing as both work when I hold it back I figured they weren't the problem..

Thanks heeps brother, by the off chance it's a lsd stuffed or not stuffed Can i still install the minispool? (I'd prefer a locked diff too a lsd) I think I read someware on here a lsd 25 spline can-not be spooled..is this correct or just much more expensive? How do I get around this! TIA

hey fellow vl owners in the process off fixing my high beams for roadworthy, just having issues with the H-B staying on, they stay on if i holf the stalk backwards, but as soon as i release the stalk back to its original position the lights go off alltogether, untill i pull back on the stalk...

hey i picked up a cheap set off short style ls3 type injectors really cheap, realized i had too get a custom fuel rail made up so have done that, but my question is has anybody used these before?! and how much power can they support? (injector is on the far left) thanks in advance!

i was given a set off these tiny ls3 short style injectors (sorry will try and post a pic soon) for a slab off jimmy's so couldent refuse. my question is has anybody used this type off injector in a vl before? t what kind off power figures should i expect them too support? thanks in advance matt
