Well I can finally put an end to that story. Mal wood custom made me one. Took him only a few days and was at my door. He even charged me nearly $100 less than what gw quoted me which I was wrapped about. Shifters in and it feels great

Looks like I've got it sorted at the moment. Mal wood is going to make one up for me. Hopefully he pulls through with the goods cause billet told mr it was no worries and that was over 4 months ago

The box is a Borg Warner not a getrag. And it was before they became a tremec box. So none of those shifters will fit. I have tried mal wood also. But I might give him a call again if I get a chance to ask him what the box is also out of

Hey guys, bought a T56 and it had no speedo sensor. Its going in a VS so its all gotta change. The gear that drives is looks completely different to the T5 box. Need to know whether the sensor has a little plastic gear like the older stuff, or is it just a sensor (infrared?) similar to the ABS...

Anyone got a clue where i can get one second hand or something? They want over $400 trade price from holden, the cheapest ive found so far is from mal wood which is still $240.... No wreckers around have them :(

How easy would it be to hit reverse instead of 5th? Surely it wont be easy. I was thinking about ditching it for now

Ok cool so it is reverse lockout.... Gearbox is from a VS GTS, and going into a VS Clubsport. Any idea what wires are suppose to go where? I doubt ill have that plug in my loom. How would i hook it up?

Hmmm at a guess i was thinking reverse lockout. But looks likes its got a wiring plug on the end of it??? Anyone know for certain?

Cant really remember exact figure, few hundred. Got them cheaper than normal cause of work. The shocks i took out where so stuffed, and the date stamp on them was from june/95 LOL

Got a bit busy through the week, finally got off my ass and did the front end suspension, all new Nolathane bushes and GT sport front struts. Feels better already, really cant wait to the back end as soon as i have the cash to do so.
