Whats the laws (VIC) with different tint on side and rear windows of wagons? Can you go something much darker on the tailgate, quarter windows? by law are you even allowed to do the rear passenger windows darker?

Im sure you've answered this a million times, but did you keep the bi-model? Mine being auto, you have to work a little harder to get the crackle n pops happening, so probably why I'm not sick of them

Back on target, whether it be walkinshaw or otherwise, does the W375 kit (or similar) still have the crackle n pops like the stock exhaust does? watching DREMSE video, the stock crackles n pops but the Difillipo doesn't really seem to.... i know some people don't like it, but i bloody love it...

not at all, a lot of people do it, like anything preparation is key. the car needs to be immaculate, cause your putting a layer of 'glass' trapping in whatever underneath, so if the paints scratched, it'll stay scratched till you remove it

Thinking i can do handbrake at home, no problems paying for the O2 sensor, just worried that its not the problem, if first she said its a ECM update, then changed to O2, and just searching through JC now, seems it could also be the cat itself buggered (carbon build-up on the SIDI engines?)

Yes, i had 10.5 +36 on my other car, standard height. the only thing i did not like was the tyre size, the 275/30 looked silly with such a large tyre to arch gap. so based off this thread, i think ill try some 285/35(?), or..... i would loveee 295's on standard height.

Nah mate, first thing I looked at in the engine bay was for the carbon fibre intake, and it didn't have it, then looked closer at the car and Ye both are just standard gts-r, still amazing to have 2 sitting in the showroom, but the unicorn w1 will be abit harder to find

Hey if somebody handed me the keys to a r8 tourer lsa (I'm a wagon man) then bloody oath I'd take it, but I (like others on here have said), prefer Holden to hsv and Ye wouldn't justify buying an lsa engined hsv. Unless I had too much money to know what to do with.

It's not the W1, so it's not the ls9, just the lsa, so meh... I think id stick to my n/a ls3 over the most thirsty engine ever! The W1 is a different kettle of fish though....

What's clearance like on the inside of the wheel well? Running +36 I only ever worried about the outside guard, but thinking I might change and bring them inboard a bit, but is there plenty of clearance for a 10.5 moving inwards (and running a larger tyre)

I ran 10.5 +36 rears on my VE wagon, with 275's, never rubbed (standard height) I've got to do a proper test fit on the VF, but would love to know if i can move up to a 285 ( i think 295 would be dreaming for me)

Spare parts blokes are useless.... I like going in with as much info as I can (when purchasing anything). So if I can use this great resource of a forum to get part numbers, then stroll in and stat those it's a lot better
