The road is okay and some stretches are smoother than others. Overall it's ok, however in saying that of course it could all be a lot better if we wanted it millimetre perfect and encrusted with diamonds and gold leaf. The NT Government just spent 3.4 million dollars upgrading the stretch.

That image is not part of the 204 kilometre stretch that the new unlimited speed covers. That image is one of the Stuart Highway near Adelaide River which is between Darwin and Katherine. The stretch of road that is has no speed limit is between Alice Springs and Barrow Creek.

It's now officially legal to go fast in a 204 kilometre stretch of public road in the NT as the 130 kilometre an hour speed limit is no more. Will go for a cruise as soon as it gets light and take a look. Will film some of it and if it is of sufficient quality I'll post it up. Cheers

Had this problem mid last year with the same symptoms in a 1995 VS V8. Replaced the coolant temperature sensor and all sorted.

I have a VS Clubsport and mine would start no problem when cold however once warmed up and shut down it would only restart with a bit of throttle. It would turn over for a few seconds and then cough and splutter when it did fire and blow a fair bit of black smoke that smelt of fuel. After that...

Today I replaced my standard sway bar links and rubber bushes on my HSV VS Clubsport, using the drop the sway bar method. Worked perfectly and did it by myself with no problems. I used a superpropoly kit with heavy duty links and polyurethane bushes sourced from Supercheap Auto for $59.00...

Keep in mind that car window tints are either dyed or metalised. The cheaper ones contain dyes and once the UV chemically alters the dyes you get that horrible purple affect. Like they say you get what you pay for. Pay a bit more and go the metalised tints.
