should run well with gas as its a higher octane fuel and exhaust sounds ok... when i bought it they told me either a free flowing single 2.5" or a 2" twin system but i just ran a single n it went well .... if ur keen some head porting and higher compression all helps make power but it will run...

na neva had it on a dyno but the car had alot better throttle responce afta... it would easily turn the tyres and had alot stronger mid n top end power, u could tell the difference when driving it

if ur engines are covered in oil n dirt the cas cant get any cool air flow either which wont be helping ur problem

could be fuel pump they can stop and start when on the way out ... or fuel pump relay like mentioned a few times

make sure u haven't run ova something or bottomed out and bent the sway bar somewhere ... otherwise probs just the bushes or links may also be bent

get a thin plate cut with a smaller hole in the middle and put in between ur flange where the exhaust bolts together ... just dont rev the car to hard cause ur restricting the exhaust a fair bit or chicken wire and steel wool does the job also as long as it wont come flying out mid test lol

if you got a bad batch of fuel maybe but ur fuel filter would most likely filter it out neways. one injector could have already been a bit blocked and the second one went n made it noticable... u could get the spray pattern and flow rate checked on them b4 fitting new ones

looks a bit like bearing ... id be redoing the oil in bout 1000 ks like m1lky said n just check it out again

its not uncommon for the 253 and 308s to slowly knock the top off the cam lobes when there old and develop to much clearance between the valve and the rocker arm ... this causes the tapping noise.... usually best is to run new cam and lifters ... u can file the base of ur rocker pivot down to...

tail shaft center bearing possibly but it will be more obvious under acceleration or maybe a uni joint in the tail shaft may have seized

go to repco or bursons and get a spark stress tool .... put it in the end of ur leads that u think are faulty and clip the other end to an engine earth and run the car ... if theres no spark its most likely either a lead or ur dissy cap n rotor ... if u have a weak spark on all ur leads it could...
