KPM for sure. 2 1/2" is big enough, especially for a family car. Mine's cammed and it's loud enough.

Buy a dedicated au at your peril. 2 mates had them for their work vehicles and both swore never to buy anything dedicated again. The newer ones no doubt would be better, but the older ones, after seeing the issues they had, no way would i touch one. They would freeze up for no apparent reason...

This^^^ Mine ran after cam install no worries. It's not ideal but given mine had to be moved about 50 metres next door for the tune it didn't matter but point being, it should still start and run.

I seem to see alot of people running xforce on utes, which they seem happy with. Stick the same system on a wagon and to a lesser extent, a sedan and see how you like it then. Personally, i've ran a lot of different systems over the years and when it came to buying my last one i wasn't taking...

i relocated mine as i removed the engine cover and hated the look of the hoses running over the top. From memory used vh heater hoses and it's worked a treat.

do some research. Some of these newer alternators need a special setup to charge the second battery properly. Usually you could go with a redarc isolator and it'll do the job fine, but you may need to run a charger with a relay setup, in which case i'd recommend the ctek chargers. Battery wise...

Autos are better for daily drive. Mine is cammed and the auto handles it fine. I like manuals as well having come off a vz ss as my last car and after having both as dailys, the calais is just easier in the long run, but i guess i might be getting lazy as well.
