As VN-V6 said they came like that as its a SS. I guess you could buy the part from holden and convert it over.

yeah could be the clock spring behind the wheel its a common thing with VTs.

One thing to check is the PVC system that runs off the side of throttle body to the valve covers had this happen to mine and it brought the light on. fixed it up and the light went away.

Sorry thought you were referring to a V8 same as the OP.

Could poss be the clock spring. See if you can remove the actual horn and from under the front bumper and test to see if it works.. I was under the impression that horns work by completing the earth circuit to make them work.

The knock sensor is located in the valley under the inlet manifold.

Nah its a HJ 1 tonner.

This i would like to see this done. WOULD be very painful without removing the bumper bar. Almost near impossible. Plus the amount of work to remove the bumper is not much and makes the job heaps easier..

I have a 1 tonner here that has a 253 in it and the engine number starts with QR if that helps

The only difference with the front link pins is the bottom of the link that goes on the sway bar is a ball not rubbers/washers. The top is still the same vt-vx-vy

There was only making the condensor sit back a bit and cutting the top off the radiator fan shroud a little bit not much... It comes with in tructions to fit it. If you like i can send you some pic of mine done might help ya out......

If ya look down the side of your left hand exhaust manifold the black box is bout how big it is.. Say something like 300mm x 300mm x 100mm would be ok. these are rough sizes from sending mine down. Who is doing the tune

Had a look at what was said above and can not fault at all. Also cleaned all the ABS sensors front and rear just incase that was causing it. Also cleaned out the abs plug under the bonnet too. But still no joy.. Anybody got anymore ideas...

Hey everyone i got a bit of a problem with my trac off light it has started to flicker.. After i start the car I always turn trac control off (HATE IT). Not long after i have done this it starts to flicker and also no matter what speed i doing 0, 15,40,80 or 100klms its flickers the same rate...

Contact one of the mods and ask them to move it they might not find it this way

If you drop down the cover under steering wheel, you will find just a bove the air vent tube and in a bit is a the switch, Its easier to remove the duct and some brackets to get to the switch.

Best thing to do with the belt on and car running use a long screwdriver (CAREFULLY) touch each drive belt pulley and see which one is making noise. also check alt, P/S, A/C & water pump as well as these can also be noisy... Another thing to do is remove belt start and run the car for a few...

Are you sure its the bulb warning light, If it is then do as above, If its not and is the fluid level light check your brake fluid level, Either is low or the sensor is stuck down.... If its low i would be checking your pad front and back to see if they are worn out.. Low level is a god...

I would look at the ignition switch behind the barrel. Also the key does NOT charge via the contacts it is only for the BCM to read...

From what i have read you can do it without taking the sump off. I dont really want to pull the engine out

Try the hazard switch common problem, when it goes bung it make the indicators play up..

I running Penrite pro 10 as per the book at work says and have started to get a tick tick randomly comes and goes. I think its a noisy lifter as i chucked a bottle of lifter free up in it and it went for bout 2 weeks now its back randomly every 2 or 3 days start it up and drive no noise then...
