I had a similar problem about 2 weeks ago, though it may have been the fuel i was using (ethanol blend) so i waited till empty and tried caltex - made no difference. Stuck my head under the car and the bonnet and couldn't see or smell any fuel so i took it for a flogging as well - still couldn't...

check your build/compliance plate - it will show FE2 somewhere. Unless it's a cop car or a special build i am pretty sure exec's don't have FE2, but i could be wrong. as for lowering the car , can't answer that one, all the commy's i have owned have had FE2 !

i actually feel more "in tune" with the car when i'm barefoot - i think its easier to miss the pedal with thongs on

I'm just curious, i have heard that it *may* be illegal, but i can't see why - i prefer to drive barefoot than with thongs on - in fact i take em of when i'm driving because i reckon they are too hard to drive a manual with, and that they slip too easy.

I have one for the coppers - driving barefoot, what's the go? is it illegal? I often drive down to the corner shops barefoot...

$300 for genuines? I bought a set for my old VX S pack from the dealer, cost me about 190 all up for the lights, relay and switch! I say try another dealer !

Could be your accessory control fuses- had a similar problem a little while ago, replaced the radio fuse but not the control fuse and nothing would turn off when i opened the door,etc. Changed the fuse and all is good!

Found the problem last night, seems that i blew 2 fuses but only replaced one ( the 15 amp stereo one)obviously the 7.5 amp one is for the relay. Yep, used the factory wiring, got it all sorted now, radio mutes on calls, volume control via the stereo. The only thing left to do is wire up...

Found the problem - blown fuse! i blew the radio one when i put the car kit in and replaced it ( 15 amp) but there is also a 7.5 amp fuse that blew. Replaced that and bingo, good as gold azzss - i use the bluetooth connection rather than the cradle, and just sit the phone in the console.Next...

Ring your local dealer- they are about $50 brand new, same as the one that fits the SS. I bought one a few months back and fits my SV6 no dramas, takes about 5 minutes to install

Picked up my Jan 05 SV6 last week with 17000 on the clock, was owned by a Church group, excellent condition- dealer told me they change the cars as soon as they hit 15000k's

was planning to stick the 6*9's in with just a small amp - i thought i would ask first to see if the wiring was in place before i started pulling seats, etc out of the car i have only had for 5 days....

Does anyone know if the VZ SV6 has the swiring in please for a set of speakers on the rear parcel shelf? Would love to put a set of 6*9's up there without haveing to rip the new car apart too much

My VX is now out of warranty so i do it myself. Front pads cost me $60 bucks and 45 minutes to change.The dealer told me that they needed to be changed and wanted to charge me 200 bucjs so i tild em to get stuffed ! I suggest you find a good mechanic and stick with em- stuff the dealers !
