Which cannister do you have to use vh commodore or same model as donor engine? They both are labelled where lines go then just look at where needs to go on engine as ls intake slightly different between models for pollution crap.

Holden replaced rear seals with new plates as they warped...was common issue. Good time to replace barbell might get bit more oil pressure back if lucky.

There are heaps of differences when it comes to 5ltr vt. If 304 setup is actually vn/p as you typed it up as th700 which has cable should be able tro sell that for more than what complete vt 304 is worth. Different k frame,mounts,pulleys & headers plus other things

Buy a donor car..simplest would be starting with vt to vy then can use parts from your vs & donor car to make it all work with right research & parts. Ofcourse will need aftermarket engine mounts,extractors & trans member to get it in. Wont be cheap once bought donor car & conversion parts but...

Car still has stock efi 304/4l60e in it so might try to wire & plumb that up hopefully engine not fubar'd as not run in 10 years. In contact with engine builder about junker red 308 statesman block already 40 or 60 thou so no point buying flat tops or cheap scat crank as doubt will be reusable...

Speak to tuner buy what they recommend that has results you're after. Personally don't see if worth hassle without decent compression with cam and usual mods then worth spending extra coin getting tune. Otherwise leave motor stock do other things like diff gears/stally instead.

If nothing has been changed at all probably keyhead. Can you lock/unlock doors then start car..got 40secs to a minute before security light flashes again. Sometimes just need to flip key if it's worn but think can still get new keyhead coded.

Should be decent clearance if wiper is seated properly then scoop too far back. Not sure if can see it properly on mine.

You got pics? Should be heaps of clearance...iirc back off them at bottom of scoop doesnt go past plastic vents on bonnet. Id had to have a look at my vh sle with brock scoop but I hate the look of it lol

Yeah when got my sle noticed digital autometer tacho was 'glitchy' so ended up rewiring it seperately. Did take it out completely but hated holes on top of steering column so put it back in grrrr Sle did have old style monster tacho in pillar but cant see srcew holes unless you purposely try...

I do know U.S cars have awd th700 transmissions...apparently bolted up to back of chev v6 which have same bolt pattern as v8. So might also have them for later model buicks. Remember seeing old ads on marketplace & ebay th700 with transfer case. Also saw Stay Tuned episode with Tony Angelo...

Personally think that as long as monster tacho is not tapped off same wires & power source of factory tacho then both should work fine....also makes it easier to remove if want to neaten interior or put it on another car.

Take it for a drive let it get warmed up then see if pops up intermittent fault with disconnect maf. My sv8 was a whole different car with all bolt on mods...larger gain than expected for clapped out car. Stock form was boring as hell...catback did nothing but 2 hole airbox mod was good...
