Irs This IRS problem has been around for along time now... IRS was first standard on Series II VQ statesmens and Caprice I beleive? (correct me if im wrong)....and was definately standard on all Calais since the Series II VP. Of course there where plenty of other models since then with IRS too...

As the subject says, the engine is missing constantly under moderate to heavy acceleration, sometimes even under light acceleration, and the problem is slowly becoming worse. My first guess is I have a rooted spark plug lead?? Or could it be more complex then this...MAF sensor? Any idea's? Cheers

The lights on the dash all work. And even if they didnt, i only have to plant the right foot to find the traction control still on. Holding the button down doesnt do anything either

I am unable to turn the traction control off. The switch beside the auto doesnt seem to work. Anyone else had this problem? Hopefully its just a faulty switch.

Thats exactly how the immobiliser/alarm is meant to work on the VP Calais. It will always turn the immobiliser/alarm on after 1-2 minutes after turning the car off... you just have to get into the habbit of pressing the door button everytime you see the security light flashing...even if the...

As the topic says... The 2 light globes that sit behind the climate control LCD screen are blown. Has anyone replaced these globes before? Holden reckon they dont sell them :mad: So where can I purchase them from?

VR V6 - On a trip from Melbourne to Sydney I managed 680km. Average 400km city driving. My old VP V6 on gas (60L tank) would only average 300km city driving.

I bought a 2nd remote from Holden and the problem is now fixed. But I read in another post that you can crack the remote open without breaking it and replace the battery. Will have to try this.

I have the same problem , and now its at the point where the car will never start unless its jump started. And yet like said earlier...everything else on the car works perfectly...just wont start. This is on a VR calais though, not a VS. I dont know how it can be the key when it opens the doors...
