theres abit of head work and machining to fit the rb26 head... and trying to find a head under 2500 wont be an easy task .. go buy yourself an rb25 non turbo head as these pretty much bolt straight up with the rb30 bottem end youl also need to decide what gearbox to run aswell as that...

went threw the same thing with a vn motor in a vr ... ended up talking to gentech and jakes performance about trying to tinker with the comps to get it all to work but they didnt have any ideas ... best best just swap the vn motor and loom for a vr motor and loom

odometer readings dont mean **** on a vl lol.... 3-4 g for a stock vl with bad paint and rust is not a good buy.. 3-4 grand will get u a tidy calais.. id rather a tidy rust free vl with 200k on it at least i know a reco engine will wont cost me next to nothing
