paully they never said anything about the brake upgrade on my beast .. so u should be fine on the brakes.. i think you saw my list and im sure he coulda been worse.
when mine was backfiring ended up being the rotor under he dizzy cap.. it was knackered... once replaced worked fine.. cheap part prick of a location tho.

if your serioulsy not savvy at pulling the fascia of ya dash apart.. id say ur next best option IMHO would be.. passenger side wheel well.. turn ur steering to full lock and start unscrewing the plastic shroud above the passenger front wheel to gain access to the antenna... and disconnect from...
4 screws behind the steering wheel for the airbag - take that off
then coupla screws for the steering wheel controls.. either side and a small plug in behind the airbag...

either way its easy to check... --- the one behind the light switch is easy to reach.. just undo the flap for the fuses under the...
the wiring for the foggies should all be there....... first of all look where the foggies go on either side u should see the plugs taped up on the loom in almost the right spots.... 2nd where the light switch have a look behind there should be a couple there taped up and covered in foam...

looks like theres a rear monitor and front monitor switch on page 4... take a gander at that.. maybe something simple.. hope so anyway.. looks like an awesome stereo how much it set u back?

i went all brand new everthing.... pistons, rings, performance cam, adn just all the incidental parts... literally.. 1800 in parts.... dont forget.. fuel pump, injectors, all the nuts n bolts... mines built for future power and longetivity
a lot of newer after markets now u can continue to use the steering wheel controls.... using a pac-swi adapter.... maybe check the ASR group 1st group on this website phreddy has a few things he can do to these units
whoever told u that garbage that a phone line will kill if shorted lol..... needs to be shot... as said the lines only rated at like 50 odd volts and 72 or so when ringing... but the amperage just isnt there... feeel free to strip a phone line with ur teeth while ringing it... itll sting lol...
well as far as i know nothing is wrong with it.. however a fresh rebuild of the engine.. i figure if i go brand new... i wont be raplacing parts for sometime to come
there shouldnt be too much on the inside that the eletric antenna plugs into.. maybe the BCM but sheesh.. why would ya... id hedge more toward a fuse fault but firstly buy yaself a cheapo volt meter.. where in perth are ya???..... id check first that those wires indeed have power getting to...
