All I needed was the bracket, cost me $6 today and sprayed the hinges with wd40 and voila all good :) Now all I need is a new window, I've been quoted $262 with o'briens, anyone from Adelaide know a cheaper place to get one fitted? I might have to wait til tuesday to ring around...

Bugger, this has just happened on my vp, passenger side only, so it seems I'm up for a new hinge and of course the window. All I did was close the bonnet from the drivers side, not the middle and now this!

Hey I need new front disks for my vp and am wondering if anyone has gone for slotted disks and wether it was worth it? Standard disks are $56 each and slotted disks are $112 each for DBA. All help much appreciated Steve

well i just did this to the vp and so far havent found any benefits, before and after resetting the ecu, didnt make much difference, might leave it out for a week or so but at the moment am looking at putting it back in, its obviously there for a reason.

Gotta love it when everyone has different opinions of these things :p, I also feel the same about modified cars, which is why I've always bought stock cars so far and have had a good run with them, especially for my last vk being 23 years old.

I personally like the look of the vz utes, even the execs, only thing is they need mags and to be lowered which pretty much every commodore does IMO. Also a 6 speed manual would be exciting enough to drive for me for now, I mainly just want a ute to carry around the motorbikes. Also normally...

Well I'm getting everything sorted out loanwise and checked out the new car warranty, they said that anything I think is wrong they will check out and say if its abnormal or not, and if it is they will fix/replace it at no cost, it includes like engine transmission and clutch, because of that...

i dont really know the history, all i know is it was owned by TransAdelaide so most likely been used for building railways and stuff, which could explain some of the tray damage, normally i wouldnt buy something with this much damage but the fact is i could get a vz ute with 6 speed for a good...

I dont really know what to think, some people say get it if its cheap enough, others say dont because often by the condition of the interior shows how theyve looked after it what do you's think would be a decent price for it?
