    i agree go an otr forget about wasting money on hi flow filters in the factory airbox. also keep in mind most LS1's need upgraded valve springs with the tune as when they raise the factory rev limiter you will probably get some valve float.

    i wouldn't worry too much LSX engines seem to drink a bit of oil anyway it's standard practice to over fill them just a touch. my tuner told me to always put 6litres into my LS1 when the manual says to only use 5.7l. it would be a pain in the arse to just drain a bit of oil as well you'd be best...

    wouldn't the electrical motor that operates the throttle body be sealed from the actual throttle body? otherwise it would be a vacume leak? idle issues etc? degreaser is no nastier then petrol or oil that these things are designed to operate with.
