Well the latest was the pump and rack were replaced! Holden replaced the rack after I pushed and pushed for it, but only to fail to bleed the system properly, which then had me back for another trip to get the pump replaced under warranty!

If they replaced it under warranty just under 6000km ago, then it should still be covered by the spare parts warranty of 2 years/50000 kms... Go back to the dealer with that one!

Well, Idler pulleys on my old VS were changed at 80,000... While my new VYII SS had one of the idler pulleys replaced at 30,000... It appears they have chosen a cheap bearing supplier, and possibly get some bruneling if they sit in the warehouse for too long!

Take it to an expert! How long has is not been working for? Does the fluid in the reservoir move at all with the engine running? Does the fluid smell burnt?

Well on the SS's its easy enough to tell from the front spoiler... Directly in the front, and lower most sections of the spoiler, there are two horizontal strips in front of the radiator. On the Series 1's the upper strip was colour coded and the lower in Black... On the Series 2's they fixed...

How'd you go with the Cluster Change?

A proper 4-Wheel alignment will fix this problem! They will align the rear thrust line with the front. It will cost extra, but it's worth it!

There is another couple of companies out there such as Tru-Fit Carpets... I've had two sets in my VS and now my VY and they are fantastic!

You wanta know the best thing... The Narva range of Bulbs are generally Osram Bulbs.... They even have Osram printed on the bulb! I bought mine before Repco were rebadging the Osrams. The 50% work wonders, in both spot and driving lights. It's well worth it! Don't put in 100/90's...

Hi Guys & Gals, Firstly, I'm sick'n'tired of Holden Servicing...Over-priced, Under-knowledged, and average workmanship...I'll leave it at that! :bang: I want to find a good recommended workshop in Brisbane who can conduct handbook servicing for a reasonable price... Any suggestions?

The squeking noise... Try the idler pulley on the air conditioning circuit. Holden have just replaced mine under warranty!

Has anybody fitted the Nolathane 48166 kits to their VY Commodore? Is it easy to undertake, or should it be left to the experts? Obviously being an adjustable caster kit, it will need an alignment after fitment!
