Hey, I've just noticed the same issue with my car. It's the same, a VX II Calais L67. I have just put in an LSD with a 2.87 ratio. Original was 3.08. I haven't done anything with the computer, as I know that the speed is only out by 5-8km. Given that I have not changed anything electric I think...
Digging up an old thread again... I have a VT SS II and the opportunity to buy a 6L out of a VE GTS series 1 for $1500. I know the owner and full history of this car, and am wondering if its worth the effort to put this engine into my VT? If not, I may run it in my 180B drag car I'm building...
Just hooked up the deck. Had to wire it up the old-fashioned way cos the adaptor harness was ****. It just pushed the pins out the back. Low and behold, the factory subs worked. I will probably still hook my amp up tho, so a can crank em ;)
Thats an idea. I couldnt work out the amp remote too. How did the subs handle the better amp? Ive got a small 4chan i could try. Main reason for sticking with factory is I am only keeping this for a year till I can afford a VE, so dont want to spend much on it.

I have an adaptor loom from supercheap, (not that its hard wiring and soldering them together - but im lazy) which is fine...
Just found mine was broken. Went looking for the oil leak at the back of the motor and found the PCV line was in two. Explains the oil leak...
How much was the replacement?

me too. I was just going to splice the alarm into the wires that go into the door. The black/red and the black/yellow wires trigger the c/lock motor. Its a 1992 VP SS, so the wires should be the same. Have you found the module?
