    Darren_L is on the money,but not to sure what the 2 cut wires are, because they are on the cabin side of the loom, get a wirring diagram and trace them back.

    No probs, it shouldnt cost a couple of hundred for a machine shop to do it, not much really, no idea what sort of acid they use. But AFIK they dont acid dip any alloy parts as it will eat away at the alloy, alloy components get hot tanked!!

    Danny, youve invested abit of money into this new motor, it would pay to spend a few extra dollers on some decent accesories for it. the way i see it, is why risk a couple of grand by trying to save a few hundred dollers on parts wich could potentially fail and let the motor down.

    easyer said then done, rods should really have the big ends resized when ARP bolts fitted, plus if he aint goin to rev the motor heaps the standard bolts will be fine (A9Ls have a decent size rod bolt from factory) should really put some MLS head gaskets on it and ARP head studs 1st

    He means Quench, its a techincal thing, by shaving down the heads your reducing your chamber and creating bigger quench or squish area, which is bad for combustion
