what quote above has the proof they were getting 50 a hour ? None that I can find I know some people that have worked and one that still is working at Holden and none of them are on anything close to 50 a hour.

Yes just use the vy manifolds it would be better to use a vt engine as the vs has smaller valves in it compared to the vt onwards ecotec from what I'm told even some of the early vt engines had the smaller valves.

Ya can get 240 with stock heads and manifolds on a stock vn computer (yes ecotec) so ya should be able to get pretty close to 300 with allowing it to breath with some head and manifold porting and set of tractors and a aftermarket computer allowing a better tune to suit.

I mean the k frame to wide to bolt in and I know it has factory toe adjustment but have a look at the bushes in it they don't just have a bolt through them so that tells me they are adjustable ones in there already.

Take your car to a tyre shop they will remove them for you.

You can go one way with the flange swap and you have to cut the pinion shaft a bit but I think that's from vy back to vt and I don't think the pinion shaft is long enough to fit the vy flange swap correctly hope I've got this the rite way around.

If they have just put new struts in it they would of seen what the bearings were like so I would not take your car back there again to me they should replace the bearings if they are buggered free of labour cost as they should of been done with the struts.
