Have u reset the iac? rev it in neutral up to approx 3k and let the revs come down on its own. Usually it will stall first time. Do it again, and the iac steps should reset

you can go way more than 20 thou. Find a machine shop who knows what they are doing and they will machine the intake manifold to suit.

have u unbolted the front plate that holds the cam in? If its jammed you may have a problem! The risk is that one of the bearings may be caught. If you accidentally pull a bearing out you will need to have the block remachined oversize thru the cam tunnel

It sounds nice all the way thru the rev range. All v6's sound tinny with stainless, thats a given

u dont need a mafless tune... no point unless you're doing something different with the induction system
