    Commodore Name Sentenced To Death

Might finally get a Holden with decent build quality if a Euro is imported. Kind of surprised they'd go that route though. The main argument for canning the Vectra and Astra and changing the Barina to a Korean car was because of the cost of importing Euros.

Just say no then find a good detailer for protection. Total rip off.

    Job change/change in direction

I was an industrial design engineer but got tired of it about 4 years ago. Decided I was going to start driving trucks and haven't looked back. I'm now in the oil and gas industry driving tanker road trains throughout Western Australia and Darwin and make plenty of money. I don't have a set...

holden employees in 2.5 m stolen parts racket

Who shows up to court in a Peter Brock hoodie? Seriously? Must have sold the 2.5 million in parts for a slab of VB. Clearly didn't benefit financially from the crime.

    Your last holiday.

Awesome place, you'll love it and your missus will love Orchard Road. Not cheap shopping though.

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Put my truck in for a service as I had some time off and it wasn't needed. Had a few issues that needed to be dealt with so told Kenworth to keep it until everything was fixed. Anyway that was a few days ago and I called them up this afternoon to see if it was ready. I'd originally planned to...

Thinking about moving to Melbourne, suburbs to go for / avoid?

Yeah I lived in Monbulk until I moved to Perth 4 months ago. Just jump on the train at Belgrave and get in that way! And the key to buying a house is to buy something cheap and live in it for a few years while you build up some equity then you sell and move up to something nicer. No point...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

I'd get paid either way so it is a moot point. And again this thread is titled "Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you". So go troll another thread.

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

FFS I'm not FIFO and I don't work in the mines. I work for a national company and I went north for a period to "help out". I was then sent to Darwin. Where did I say I was FIFO? That's right I didn't. I drive a road train between Karratha and Perth and some local stuff in between.

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Umm... this is the "Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you" thread is it not? It pissed me off/bugged/annoyed me so I posted it. Same trolls here as always. :blah blah:

Being told by your employer the night before you fly home that you need to stay on a few more days. You then miss your wife's birthday because of it putting you in deep ****. Then while calling her to wish wish her a happy birthday you get a text from your boss telling you he's sending you to...

    Transfer Loan to new person

I thought this was the case also. But recently I was in a Telstra shop signing up for a mobile broadband account. Gave me the usual spiel about do I agree to a credit check blah blah blah. When it came up on the screen I asked the woman what the 10,000 meant. She said it was my credit rating...

Stick with the 10W-60. Holden only stipulate 5W-30 for fuel economy.

For those in Victoria wanting to slam their VE (or even slightly lower it :))

At no stage did vicarious mention the make of police car he was referring to. All he stated was lower than standard police cars. Could be talking about a Falcon but you're sure it has FE2 fitted. And again, insurance companies don't weasel their way out of claims because of illegal mods.

For those in Victoria wanting to slam their VE (or even slightly lower it :))

I've made several claims over the years with cars modified with 'illegal' mods. Never has an insurance co ever tried to wriggle out of anything. Just more unsubstantiated bullshit.

For those in Victoria wanting to slam their VE (or even slightly lower it :))

Insurance companies aren't going to knock back a claim because of lowered suspension. What a crock of ****! So all police cars are equipped with FE2 are they? I saw a Falcon HWP and it was almost tucking rim.

    VY or VZ ??

Interior in the VZ above looks knackered. Out of those two, I'd go for the VY. But not for $17,000. I sold my VY SS last year for $11,500.

    Warranty??

It is actually their, not there. Also you misspelled warranty and your second sentence was a question so should have ended with a question mark, not a full stop. And lastly you missed the apostrophe in wasn't. Not really a good idea highlighting another member's poor grammar when yours is...

QANTAS is not a privately owned company. I was under the impression that if a company was listed on the ASX and any old person could buy shares then the company was obligated to disclosure.
