i had a vp that had that sludge in the coolant, i flushed it out and it never came back and car ran beautiully.. hope your problems fixed anyway

those spring are for lowering your car 60mm, i would think this would be lower than you are after if your looking for ride quality.

yep, i got a single key without the electronics for $25, i also got another electronic one for $75.. most locksmiths can do both types, i went to a Mr Minit cobbler for this.

I was planning on having the TS-C160R for the front, and was asking what i should put in the rear doors? i thought the back would work with a set of 3 or 4 way speakers.. it was these speakers i was after some advice on, Plus are those Rockford T162S in you opinon better than the Pioneer...

yeh, those sound boards sound heaps bad ay! about spending a bit more eveyone has told me its worth it for the front, what kind of $ whould i expect to spend on something for the rear that would work well with some decent splits like the TSC-160R..

hey, looking at upgrading my standard vt audio system and was thinking about some pioneer gear, namely the pioneer DEH-P6850 head unit (standard pioneer gear, cd, mp3, 3 rca out, 50w x 4 etc..), pioneer TS-C160R splits (60w rms) and some decent speakers for the rear doors as i drive a wagon...

whats the going rate for a set of these?

i'd have to say my car runs great on ultimate, haven't tried the others though! U may need to get your car tuned if it doesn't run well on 98 after a couple of full tanks, i've heard of cases of oxygen sensors or something needing to be replaced ..

they charged $20, so not too bad but i think i'll just grab the clip outta it as the $20 one was a bit cracked at the back and then i don't need to take the dash apart..

f*** i just bought the whole module from 'the commodore shop' to fix this prob, when all i needed was the clip.. i wonder if they knew this..

i had the same prob for a year or so on my last commie.. does it sometimes not go into reverse at all? or just slip..?

i'm also looking at this option, whats the overall cost of putting 18 vy ss wheels on? I can see its $1490 for wheels, whats the extra for shocks/springs/camber kit..? height wise i was thinking something like u can see on most of the photos here, prob fe2 at about 30mm.. is that possible...

my VT seems more sluggish with 98 fuel than 91.. does it take longer than one tank for the computer to set itself or should i disconnect the battery for an hour or so? It seems to idle worse with 98 and when driving medium speeds have worse pickup.. but when i give a heap it appears to go...

i just got a vt so havent done a full tank of any fuel yet, for city driving is it worth putting in 98? Or do you get more k's for $ off 95 or even 91?

nope, havent driven one with traction control.. was thinking more for the wet roads, from past experience you've got to be looking for traction loss to get it in the dry with the v6.. so i assume no one has installed abs or traction control in their commies? I've found info for electric...

mm.. nope i definately don't have abs, i'm guessing it'll be a pain to fit both abs and traction control? but i've got the time and tools so why not! as long as i can get the parts for not too many $$..
