that looks terrible. but material looks factory but no way. It is probably covering hail damage. have seen a vy wagon with it as well but it was a hail damaged and a tempery fix to it until the fella could afford to fix it properly.

I think it looks good, not a fan of the wheels though. I think its still trying to keep with the old style of hdt that we all know and love but each to their own i spose.

I have heard that if you cool your springs during cutting than thats how you get the shocking ride, but if you just cut them quick without cooling it gives a better ride. Best though to get them compressed. There was a guy on ebay ages ago that would make springs to whatever height you wanted...

Best to use a spray gun or get someone to do it for you. Spray cans won't give a nice metallic finish which is what you want. Your mates are correct with taking your time with bog and primer etc, as any dints will show up heaps with a metallic finish. But yeah you will get a crap finish from...

Tailshafts are different between auto and manual

If it a bit of a ticking noise at all then it can also be the spigot bush bearing will need changing. I replaced mine because it shattered and yeah it was making a ticking noise

you cant use a v8 k frame. the v8 k frame has the mounts in the same place as the vh 6 and v8 one,(will put the engine to far fowrd in the bay) the pre efi and the efi v8 use the same block get a v6 k frame
