May be of no help but check the power steering fluid level, you may be low or empty. You may have an air in the system. With the motor running, refill the pump container and turn the steering from lock to lock. Hope this helps.

I would put a socket and pry bar on the crank pulley and see if you can turn the motor. If you cannot turn the motor then serious dismantling may be required. Maybe, and I do say maybe, the starter motor has jammed locked on to the flywheel. Unbolting and checking on the bench will tell. Good luck

Hi, This is probably obvious but if you have override brakes on the boat trailer, you need to lock them out before reversing. Otherwise you are pushing against the trailer brakes. On a similar vein, maybe the trailer brakes are catching when reversing. Just a thought.
