Wrong in the vz commodores its just a normal 5 speed auto box with a button each side of the steering wheel to tell it to go up or down but its pathetic and takes way to long to react. Its just a gimmic

Bah use a northstar adjustable so you can control how far away you want to be for clobbering duties

Reaction times don't effect your et but a small reduction in your 60' will make a 4 fold difference at the top end

Yea some people are getting float at as little as 270 others are pulling nearer to 290 - 300. Either way it is going to be fun to drive. Are you aware that tuning for the zf has just been released too

+ Valvesprings as they aren't much good for over about 280

Drive a decent 6sp auto and you will see. Same sort of thing goin from 4sp manuals to 6sp now

Any falcon ute with a tray. they are so bloody long so don't fit into bugger all parrallel parking spots and if its an xr doesn't fit over the concrete stops. Piss easy to reverse park tho

The stock turbo on the fg's is good for up to 320rwkw roughly. Fpv use the same turbo from the ba/bf so can go more power. They really do look good in white the fg's especially rolling on black wheels. Might have to invest in valve springs too when going for the tune because they really skimped...

Mate go for the BF. While the 4sp auto isn't too bad its not the strongest or smoothest box out there, the 6sp in the BF onwards is miles ahead and keeps the motor on boost better. Add to that after 06/06 the xr6t got the typhoon bottom end so if your chasing a bit of power go for one after that...

My vz had that hose split which actually caused it to not run. A bit of duct tape and 30 seconds and it was fixed

Why would it cost more to insure? My xr6 t costs less to insure than my xr8. Sure its not a sc v8 but its an fi car which is aparently the devil

Personally i would have kept the warranty if it was a factory extended warranty not a 2nd hand warranty. Thats why i don't care what the dealer puts in my car because if it ####s up they have to fix it because its only been serviced by them and on time and the car isn't abused

Thats exactly right, and its not a case of i gained blah blah kw its better worked out as a percentage because then it doesn't matter if the dyno is happy or not

People need to stop quoting dyno figures. They are only accurate as a tuning tool. MPH at the track never lies
