Being me, I couldn’t let ‘good enough’ be - so I’ve replaced all the interior roof, door & boot lights… now just need a matching warmth footwell globes… it never ends.

Solid thread dig I know - but I would add to this, to unscrew the bottom & side screws of the door trims and poke the tabs at the same time… Popped a lens trying the original method, the rest I did partially from behind and it was mint

mine is ex company car,had 110,000 when I bought (was 5 yo when I got it) - only luxury mine had over yours is ABS.... but in the 17 years since I’ve gone to great effort to de-POV pack it good luck with it!

More random things that no-one will ever notice - painting the the carpet from the newer models so I don’t have to change the carpets... basically keep black plastic but ditching the black carpet. Left is painted and right is what came out of the car.

Yeah it all seems less tinny/more solid - just a painfully slow process re: Gauge Surround - yep,in this version I’ve trimmed down the passenger side of it to accept the factory phone mount too.

Decided to slip the gauges into their new home & decided to grab a couple photos for Jecs. And found a fix for the colour of the lighting from the gauges - T10 LED’s fit so off I go!

old rear grey trims off & new black trims on - now just to repeat for the front. whilst everything was apart I deadened the doors & re-sealed the door with the car builders product as the original plastic sheet was hammered.

Spent an hour re-assembling my rear console with re-upholstered lid & smokers pack & narva USB charge after painting it to match my Calais / SS silver dash fascia (ended up getting a colour match done as nothing came close to matching) so happy with how it’s turning out already.
