Mine looked the same, the transmission cooler (attached to side of rad) had a small crack and was leaking into the coolent. New rad from repco $240 and new coolent fixed the prob. Manifold gasket also likely.

drop out the blower fan and stick your hand up and find the evap, small cavity towards the front of the car, check it you can feel dirt and debris all in the coils. I did this then took a small toothbrush and sprayed as much of the coils as I could and tried to dislodge the debris. After, the...

conclusion: dirt/hair/debris was clogging evap, a little bit of a washout made the air flow a little better, still trying to think of a way to really clean it out without taking the whole dash out

vaccum lines I think the others might be saying to trace back the vacuum lines from the centre console to a box(vac tank) on the left of the blower fan. There are two or three black lines that go into the box. If you run the car and unplug any of them you should hear a hissing sound...

any one diagnose the following: when idle in neutral transmission is quiet, but when idle in gear sounds like a ringing/slight vib from the front of the car. Cant really hear it at speed. mounts have been done by previous owner. Anyone know what this could be? serious, common? thanks

Hi, I was going to change the inlet manifold gasket tomorrow and the Haynes manual says not to disconnet the fuel line at the fuel rail, is there a better place? sorry i am a novice at this stuff! 92 VP V6

went to check the bolts on the inlet manifold and the back ones were loose, tightened them up but took a look around and looks like old oil around the alternator and coated on passenger side of engine down to the oil pan. bolts on front of manifold were tight, car also has a rough idle that if...

problem solved conclusion: neck on rad warped and CPC rad caps did not make seal, bought TVC cap from Repco, it has a different type of top seal (looks like rubber compared to the copper of the CPC). TVC seems to sit tighter, no leaks!!!!! thanks again

thanks again guys, going to try a flush with treatment and see if that cleans it up, prob needed to be done as I didnt use a treatment on original flush because it was extrememly dirty

ya mate, cleaned out the neck and the pipes seems to seal tight, might go for a new band of rad cap or try fitting a pastic washer in there,

thanks mate, ive got a full stream of fluid comming out the bleeder screw, is it possible that there is an airlock in the block? will extra air eventually make its way out if i keep bleeding?
