Hi Steve, Had a look through your site but couldn't find a price on the A2A plate. How much is the plate by itself and are these readily available?

How much money do you intend to spend? What exactly do you want from it? I've found that a 10psi pulley, and an exhaust has done heaps to make things more lively.

You can't just short out the parker globe to enable the angel eye only, you'll burn something out doing that. Not a good idea. It is however possible to get led parkers to work with the angel eye's.

Is there any reason why you're leaving the existing material in place? Just for ease of application? You'd get a better finish if you remove the material, failing that, just visit a craft store. I'm not sure they'd have any in a pressure pack can as it'd have to be reasonably thick to penetrate...

The reason I ask about the CarPC is because I'm running one in my VX. I'll have to post some pic's if you're interested. So far all I'm using it for is music, but it's a hell of a lot better than searching through a million cd's

I had a similar thing with my VX. Just get yourself a test light or a volt meter and check the polarity of the wire's your using. I had to reverse my connections to what seem intuitively correct. But definately invest in a volt meter, a million and one uses.

What's the graph of? I can see it's using the Yella Terra Blower. Starting at 800nm, could be a nicely worked V8 aswell. High Torque, low peak power is a trait of Diesel's 8's or anything with a blower.

Nah, Mine did the same, tried glue, but the material is too weak. It's a dodgy little plastic piece with a metal pin thru it to lock into the selector, so u don't knock the gear stick accidentally out of gear. What happens is the metal just screws up the plastic over time. What I think does it...

I bought an Ebay one, and didn't read the fine print. It was a reproduction. It does its job, but the colour of the plastic doesn't match perfectly, and the leds at the tip of the switches are red :S, You win some you lose some.

Check your plug gap. Found that was making mine miss something chronic. I believe it should be somewhere around 1.3mm for an ecotec, someone correct me if I'm wrong

How do you want your engine to perform? If you stick with a supercharger your going to have a lot of torque instantly. If you go turbo, it'll be more peaky, and maybe a bit more exciting. Also, costs? How much do you want to spend?

When I did my harmonic balancer, I had the same issue as you re: centre bolt. However after a few days of driving, because I had loosened it a little, it had started to makes it's own way out. The holes in the face are there to allow you to use a puller to get if off the crankshaft. I don't see...

I was thinking of this purely for the heat thats given off in the position they're sitting, particularly on the L67. Did you make up any sort of heat shield or anything for that side of the headers?

Yes, put water in the radiator. The overflow won't be drawn back in unless theres no air in the system. So when cold, take the radiator cap off, and top it up and then go see a mechanic, if its already full, cap it up then see the mechanic anyway.

I like the idea of referencing the TC to the manifold! I also thought about the restriction of the SC aswell. I have two ideas about this. First is: will the SC be a restriction? It's not a perfect seal around the helixes so it might be fine. Second: Use the bypass valve thats already on it...

Ok, but why not the other way around? You say the Compressor turbine isn't the same as the exhaust turbine, but this is just because the exhaust enters the side of the turbine and exits the centre, so the reverse to the compressor. You can in essence then use the boost of the blower to pre spool...

Pardon my ignorance, but why the turbo before the blower? Wouldn't you benefit more by having the blower blow through the turbo to pre spool it?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean about the supercharger belt. On the L67 there are two belts, one for the accessories and one for just the supercharger. Both are 6 rib, however the supercharger belt is shorter than the acc belt. The acc belt is the same as a standard ecotec.
