    Vz Marster Cylinder into VY?

I have searched but i just assumed no one has done it. The bolt locations on the master cylinder to booster look the same but the lines are in a slightly different location. There are no wires or sensors to either master cylinder so errors shouldn't be an issue.

Can I permanently clear engine codes?

You can turn the codes off. But to permenantly delete them you will have to fix the issues rather than hide them. As soon as the bcm is reset the error will come back

    Bridge Factory VY Amplifier

I can't find any info on the factory amp. Does anyone know if it is bridgeable? Basically I want to tap into the amp wiring and run two factory amps (one for each sub)? I have a pioneer amp that powers the speakers but a spare factory amp sitting there. Can this be done or would it not make a...

    Slip ring failure

Remove the plastic trim around your steering wheel (One screw underneath and use your thumbs on the top trim to press in and pop apart) Pull the slipping off the ignition barrel and disconnect the wire to the light globe. In most cases it's not the slip ring but the contact on the key itself...

    No spark in my vt

Are you using an OBD1 scan tool or an OBD2 scan tool? Its most likely the scan tool your using giving that error VT/VX/VY are OBD1
  21. Ozzie

    No spark in my vt

Could be an ecu fault or could be the immobilizer. Try a scan tool and see what comes up

    Respray rear bumper

You'll need to feather it out and hit that black spot with some grey plastic primer/filler Then get your paint code and a spray can mixed up. Replacing the heater core

First time took me about 12 hours. I've done a fair few now and am down to about 6 hours. VT/X aren't as simple as VY/VZ... The core itself is sealed inside VT/VX heater box so the box has to come apart. VY/VZ on the other hand were simply slide in - slide out. Hardest part of the job is the...

    Running l67 without the belt

I haven't tried it myself but I would assume it wouldn't run at all and if it did it certainly wouldn't save fuel. L67 are factory tuned to run the supercharger therefore the MAF reading would be way out. The teeth inside the charger would restrict flow considerably if they weren't turning.

Yeah Richie. Still love my red. They are DNA paints. The roof is Silver Flare and the body is Firestorm red candy. Its pretty much DNA's version of candy apple red.
