any thoughts on CPR 6 manifolds

Just get some Mace Spacers for it , Wont get any extra power out of your car . But it will move the power band down abit lower in the rev range . So will "feel" like you have a few more balls.

    Ecotec Vs Alloytec SIDI

Depends on what you want and budget . And how often you will service the car. Ecotec , good power for a 6 . old style engine real easy to work on and wont sludge up if you forget to service it for awhile. Alloytec, faster then a ecotec , more modern engine , but a real pain in the ass to work...

BMW X5 rims on a VZ

will probly need to run spacers as well
  11. Trayner

    Mase budget performance pack

The intake spacers on a alloytec do work , will you get more power out of them ? no , not noticeable . Will you beat a LS1 with it ? no . but what it does is makes the torque lower in the rev range , so you will be able to take off faster and "feel" like theres more power/grunt down low .

The throttle assembly/electronics can wear out over time , they have like a little contact that moves up and down , wears out the tracks
  22. Trayner

My 2006 VZ SS 6L Manual ute! (never dial-up friendly)

Get those throttle body type opening ones instead , install a exhaust with a good muffler so its quite then have the cutout half way down the exhaust so it opens and bypasses the muffler...
