i have the same tow bar as pictured with the dog. i'm about to fit itto my vt calais.. was just wondering is there a limit as to what we can tow with it? will it tow a car trailer with a car on it?

just brought every thing cause it's my reliable car.. and my 300zx is more reliable at the moment.. lol will be fitting it all up tomara night will let you all know if it works..

all fixed, it was the idler pulley next to it.. just brought 3 new pulleys gonna fit them tomara..

i need to replace the bearings in my vt calais.. do i just go to the shop and ask for bearings? or what do i need? any help would be great..

Cheers for your help mate.. thinking i'm just gonna risk driving it to the mechanics, havent really got time to do the work my self unfortually.. i go out bush next monday and the missus will need the car while i'm away.. bit concerned about this smoke but i'll jump start the car and drive it...

cheers mate. just trying to work out if it's ok to drive the car to the mechanics with the belt rubbing.. trying to find some info on how to take the belt off. and remove the alternator..

got the same problem.. well sort off.. my alternator hasnt caught fire but smoke is coming from the pully and a bad rubber burning smell, as if the pully is ceased and dragging the belt over it.. guessing it's the alternator cause my brand new battery lasted 2 days..
