Hi guys, need help as my autotrans fuselink keeps shorting and have poor acceleration and the gears are not shifting smoothly. I also have a manual conversion on the gearbox without having a clutch pedal. I have put a new fuse in and goes okay for a bit but then shorts again. Any ideas on what...

we had the same issue with ours. we got the timing chain replaced and problem went away. good luck :-)

Have done all but the purge solenoid. am trying that one now. could it be that the timing chain is stretched as that seems to be where the rattle is coming from. thanks

Hi guys, am needing help with our VZ. when left for a couple of days, you can hear a rattle when you start it and also we have a rough idle but only when idling. no missing when driving or when a/c is on. Any ideas as to what it could be as we really don't want to spend 2k on the timing chain if...

to pull the cover off, did you have to pull the motor out to change the timing chain?? thanks

oops, sorry forgot about the alloytec...we have checked and are looking into replacing the throttle body as no one (not even the holden guys) seem able to pick what the problem is....thanks guys :-)

it's a 6 cylinder and have had all of the above cleaned and checked. although the mechanic said there are no leads any other ideas would be appreciated and thanks so much for the help already offered

Hi guys, would like to know if anyone knows what could be causing my VZ engine to have a miss in it. I have had the coils and spark plugs replaced and the injectors taken out, checked and bathed but the miss is still there slightly. Any help would be heaps appreaciated :-) Thanks

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows what could be the problem with my cruise control and how to fix it. I have a VY V8 sedan and the cruise control doesn't work but everything else on the stalk does. Have gotten a good stalk from the wreckers and still isn't working. HELP!!! Thanks :-)

Hi again, I have a VY SV8 and I have put in a VZ roof lining and want to put in the sunglass cover/case in up the front and change the light from the middle. My question is, how does the wiring work?? Do I need to change any of the wiring?? Any help much appreciated. Thanks
