I have one of those cheap eBay OBD-II cables (ELM327 or something like that). Didn't pick up the code but came up straight away with Tech2. Cleared and ran fine after that.

Seems to be quite a bit of confusion in this thread.. Just to clarify. Only VZ V6 Acclaim's and Calais have ESP.. Nothing else in the VZ Commodore range has it, no matter what anyone tells you! I think some people are getting Traction Control and Abuse Mode mixed up with ESP/ESC :)
