It had really bad carbon buildup a while ago. I flushed it out and got an oil change with new plugs but not new leads. So can i definately rule out the starter motor? Could it be the fuel pump? It has burnt out before.

Solved! I took the spark plugs out and they were caked in carbon build up. I replaved them and also sprayed a can of carby cleaner in the plug holes. It blew out a heap of smoke. The whole yard was smoky lol. It must have cleaned it up well because it starts and runs great. Starts first time...

Actually, I tried to glue something on my key a while ago and glue exploded all through it. It hasn't locked since. The pieces are all coming together now lol. Ill get a new key and post the result.

I read something about leads being faulty. Are these leads on the transmission itself? Apparently there is a sensor which can be faulty? I dont see how this would make the car jerk.

I change the front brake pads on my VT, just to see how easy it was. And it was. So now Im doing the back. However, I cant push the piston in. Is there a special tool needed because of the handbrake? Is it usually harder or do I need to release the handbrake?

I ended up getting it fixed quite cheap. It was the fuel pump. Apparently, letting the fuel run low is not good for them as the fuel cools the motor or something. Wont be letting it get that low again.

Ive got a VT. When it rains, water gets onto the rear drivers side floor. With the recent rain, it has gotten quite bad. Its a patch near the shaft cover. I cant feel water near the edge and I dont see how it could get past the seals. Has anyone experienced this?
