What do you think of what I did today?

Why not pull the complete headlight apart and create a circle in the high beam section like the BMW angel lights.

    fitting speedo dials

I don't have step by step instructions, but I don't find the job all that hard. It would be a lot easier if you had someone show you how to do it rather then explain it. Once you have the cluster removed from the car there are so torxe bit screws on the back that you undo and the plastic clear...

"TH3KID's" VX - The Perfect Storm

I would go with either the standard VX lights with the calais garnish or the CV8-R tail lights. I have the CV8-R lights on my car, and i love them. In my opinion the other altezza lights look cheap and half done, and every hack has them, but thats just my opinion.

How do you stop peolple stealing fuel?

You could set up a pressure switch (like those used on the doors for your interior light) and hook it up to your car alarm or horn.

    Locked PCM, is Tech2 possible?

I was under the impression that the Air Bag is looked after by the BCM. If that is correct you shouldn't have a problem with Tech 2 to reset the Air Bag flag.

Noise after lowering & changing Diff....what could it be?

Another thing to consider is the alignment of the diff itself, as there is room for adjustment on the sub frame, as this will affect the tail shaft and cv's. As regarding the camber and toe correction kits, was 1 or 2 kits installed. Reason I ask is that if 2 kits are installed and not...

    LSD my 2.89 Diff

If you want to keep your ratio then you'll want to purchase the BTRE-76 Series Diff which is the V6 diff in LSD found with the 3.08:1 ratio. I would be going the BTRE 80 series with 3.07:1 as used for the Super 6 and V8 as they are stronger and will take a little more abuse. The 3.07 ratio...

    FS: VT LSD 3.07:1 Bris

The V6 is the one that uses the 3.08 ratio and super 6 and V8 use the 3.07:1 There are two types of diffs used. The V6 uses the BTRE-76 Series Diff in both conventional (Open) and LSD with a ratio of 3.08:1 Code tag lettering found on the VT V6 diffs are for Conventional without ABS is...

The gears are a straight swap in, Most diff places charge $600 to put a different set of gears in a diff as they replace the seals etc. Freight would be around $30 for the gears, I can get a firm quote should you decide to take them. Jezz

    removing front seats

Yes you can disconnect the battery or remove the Air Bag Fuse. Also if you want to save yourself money, make sure you DO NOT turn the ignition on with any part of the Air bag system disconnected including the fuse as this will log a fault and you will have to take it to Holden to have it...

VT heater core needs replacing - AC evaporator too??

I would say depending on your budget and how long you think you will keep the car for, I would look at getting the evporator done at the same time. Its a really big job and the whole dash has to come out and you probably don't want to have to do this again. I've just had the whole dash and...

LOL VE Clubby kit to suit vt vx

This is the part I don't understand. They could make a nice product. Instead of taking a body kit and trying to make it fit, why dont they take the elements and design ques to make a unique kit that looks like the VE but suited to the VT/VX shape.

    Erm...... Why?? FB/EK/VN!!??

Wow that was some dedication. I think it was a good idea, it would be great to have modern versions of the classic, but it didn't work. I think the front end looks good but the back is where it really suffers. And either the front needs to be lower or the door lines need to be higher...
