I get no such noise on hot start up on my 6L. *cold* start up I get a short rattle until oil pressure builds, but hot is fine. hope that helps.

Sounds like snake oil to me. Invest your money in some extra thick soled shoes instead. I find I get heaps better acceleration when I mash my foot to the floor :D

not sure about the legal aspect, but I think you'd need to be aware of the risk for increased sidewall flex which could really affect the handling (and not in a good way).

On a run (Sydney/Melbourne) in my SSV, E10 gives around 10.6L/100k, and Vpower around 10.1. Around town - E10 sucks - I couldn't get it below 18 and that was being REAL gentle. Vpower - an easy 15 including some squirts. low 14's high 13's possible with conservative driving.

My 06 SSV doesn't have those kind of panel alignment issues thankfully - maybe they're not taking quite so much care now due to the GFC and having to drop prices? I'd definately be back in the dealer to get it resolved though, 'cos resale will suffer big time as others have said.

yes but the electrics etc have to go somewhere. I doubt that the regular chassis will have the HSV position holes cut out, and similarly I wouldn't expect the HSV's to have holes in the regular light positions. There's probably be some kind of pattern there though. I just think having holes...

I think you'll need to cut into the metal work to punch out suitable holes. and then cap and fill the section where the original lights come out of. you can buy the lights here here thopugh : Preformance HSV
